Terms of Use

These terms are the agreement between you and Vionaut for your use of the Vionaut mobile app. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use Vionaut.

1. What Vionaut is

Vionaut is a mobile app that uses AI to generate travel itineraries from the destination, dates and preferences you provide, and lets you save and edit them. It is a planning and suggestion tool.

Vionaut is not a booking service. We do not sell, book or reserve flights, accommodation, tours, tickets or any other travel product, we take no payment for travel, and we are not a travel agent or tour operator. Any booking you make is entirely between you and that provider.

2. Who may use Vionaut

You must be at least 13 years old to use Vionaut. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use it only with the involvement of a parent or guardian. Where your country sets a higher minimum age for consenting to data processing, you must meet that age or have your parent or guardian's consent.

You must also be permitted to use the app under the laws that apply to you.

3. Your account

You sign in using a third-party sign-in provider. You are responsible for keeping access to that account secure, and for activity that happens under your Vionaut account. Tell us promptly at support@vionaut.app if you believe your account has been used without your permission.

One person, one account. Do not share your account or let someone else use it.

4. AI-generated content — read this carefully

Before you rely on anything Vionaut produces, verify it independently — especially opening hours, prices, availability, safety conditions, local laws, and any visa, entry, health or insurance requirement. Costs are estimates and are shown converted from US dollars using approximate exchange rates; they are not quotes.

You are responsible for your own travel decisions. Do not use Vionaut as your only source of information for anything that matters to your safety, your money, or your legal right to travel.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use Vionaut for anything unlawful, or to plan anything unlawful or harmful;
• attempt to make the AI produce unsafe, illegal, hateful or sexually explicit content, or try to bypass its safety measures;
• submit other people's personal information;
• reverse engineer, decompile, scrape, or attempt to extract our prompts, models or source code;
• use bots, scripts or automated means to access the service, or to work around usage limits;
• interfere with, overload, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the service, our systems, or another user's account or trips;
• resell, sublicense or commercially redistribute the service or its output as your own product.

We may refuse a request, or suspend or terminate an account, where these terms are broken.

6. Usage limits

Vionaut is currently free to use and includes a daily allowance of AI itinerary generations and AI-assisted edits. The app shows you how much of your allowance remains. Generations and edits that fail do not count against your allowance.

We may adjust these allowances, and we apply rate limits to keep the service available and to control abuse.

7. Your content and our content

Yours. The destinations, dates, preferences and edits you enter remain yours. You grant us only the permission we need to run the service — to process your inputs, generate itineraries for you, store them in your account, and display them back to you.

Generated itineraries. As between you and us, you are free to use the itineraries generated for you, including for your own personal travel. AI output is not unique to you — similar inputs may produce similar results for other people, and we make no claim that generated text is original or protectable.

Ours. The Vionaut app, name, logo, design and underlying software are ours and are protected by intellectual property law. These terms give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app — nothing more.

Third-party material. Maps, destination photography and currency rates are supplied by third parties and remain subject to their own rights and terms.

8. Feedback

If you send us suggestions or feedback, we may use them without obligation or payment to you.

9. Availability and changes

Vionaut is provided on an "as available" basis. We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of it, and we may update the app, its features and these terms. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free service, and features that depend on third parties may be unavailable when those services are.

10. Ending your use

You may stop using Vionaut at any time and delete your account from within the app under Profile → Delete Account, or from our account deletion page. Deletion is permanent and your saved itineraries cannot be recovered.

We may suspend or terminate your access if you break these terms, if we are required to by law, or if we discontinue the service. Sections 4, 7, 11, 12 and 13 survive termination.

11. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Vionaut is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement.

We specifically do not warrant that AI-generated itineraries are accurate, current, complete, or suitable for your circumstances. See section 4.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, missed connections, cancelled or unusable bookings, wasted travel costs, or any loss arising from your reliance on AI-generated content or from your travel decisions.

Because Vionaut is currently provided free of charge, our total aggregate liability to you is limited to the greater of the amount you have paid us in the twelve months before the claim (which is currently zero) or US$50.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited — including, where applicable, liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you, and your statutory consumer rights are unaffected.

13. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify us against claims, losses and reasonable costs arising from your misuse of Vionaut or your breach of these terms, except to the extent the law does not permit this.

14. Subscriptions

If we introduce a paid plan in a future release, it would be sold through Google Play and governed by Google Play's payment terms as well as these terms. In that case, before you are charged we would disclose the price, the billing period and the auto-renewal terms in the app, and provide a way to restore an existing purchase. Subscriptions bought through Google Play are cancelled and refunded through your Google Play account according to Google's policies. These terms will be updated before any paid plan becomes available.

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India will have jurisdiction over any dispute. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory consumer laws in your country of residence, or of the right to bring proceedings there where local law gives you that right.

16. General

If any part of these terms is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our not enforcing a term is not a waiver of it. You may not transfer your rights under these terms; we may transfer ours in connection with a merger, acquisition or transfer of the service. These terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us about Vionaut.
